Smoked Trout Patè
An elegant and addictive spread to accompany cocktails. Using our Fine Herbs Mayonnaise gives this pate an extra dash of sophistication and flavor.
2 whole smoked trouts
1 teaspoon freshly grated horseradish
1 tablespoon Fine Herbs Mayonnaise
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
2 tablespoons cream cheese
Juice from half a lemon
5 tablespoons butter, chopped
Classic Sea Salt Flatbread Crisps for serving
Remove fish from the skin and add to a blender. Add the horseradish, mayonnaise, salt and black pepper, cream cheese and lemon juice. Blend to a paste.
Add the chopped butter and blend until smooth. Serve with a sprinkle of paprika on top, alongside our Classic Sea Salt Flatbread Crisps.
