Green Piri Piri Shrimp

Green Piri Piri Shrimp

Serves 4 as an appetizer

Our Piri Piri sauce is incredibly versatile with just the right amount of heat and can be used on just about anything. Here we use it as a marinade for a fresh tasting shrimp appetizer.

1 ½ lbs raw shrimp, deveined

1 cup Green Piri Piri Sauce

4 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 garlic clove, thinly sliced

Cilantro leaves for garnish

Combine the shrimp with the Piri Piri sauce and leave for at least 20 minutes or as long as overnight.

In a large frying pan, heat the butter and olive oil and gently fry the garlic for a few minutes. Add the shrimp and cook until the flesh turns pink, about 2 minutes. Top with cilantro and serve immediately.
